About the event
A Peace Study Room will be set up to introduce Okinawa’s history and its journey of healing and resilience. This space will invite attendees to reflect on the significance of peace and explore the actions needed to achieve and protect it.
There will also be an Okinawan food stall where guests can enjoy more than just a delicious meal - it will serve as a gateway to the island’s history, culture, and postwar resilience, with each dish telling a meaningful story.
The main hall will feature traditional Okinawan performing arts alongside presentations showcasing how Okinawa has transformed adversity into strength. The Peace Craft Area will provide children with hands-on activities to explore themes of unity and empathy. As the event draws to a close, attendees will participate in a shared moment of silence, to honour the past, reflect, and unite our hopes for a brighter tomorrow. Following this, the host of IVN,…
